Our experience with the owner Sandra and her two assistants at Ohana has been wonderful. This was our first daycare experience and we couldn’t be happier. Sandra is highly communicative with parents, has a fabulous curriculum, and Ohana is a very safe and clean environment for babies and toddlers of any age. Her playground area is especially nice and if the weather is good the children are outside enjoying it. From the photos and videos we receive daily over the app we can tell that our little one is happy and learning. We love Ohana!

We enrolled our little one at 16 weeks and have been so happy! We had interviewed various in-home daycares and centers and settled on Ohana. Being a first time mom, I was extremely nervous but Sandra is so warm and welcoming and my little one is thriving! We get pictures and a daily report of activities. I cannot recommend Ohana enough!

Our son joined Ohana Inhome Daycare in January 2019. He was 2.5 years old, and he was growing healthy and happy under the care of Sandra and staffs. He ate well, took his regular noontime naps, had a lot of fun learning and exploring with the outdoors, walking, doing puzzles, writing, and learning different languages.
He is now in kindergarten. We are glad that we chose Ohana Inhome Daycare and thankful for all the efforts Sandra and her team taking care of our son. We would recommend Ohana Inhome Daycare to any friend and family. ❤️

Ohana’s is a nurturing place for little kids. Mrs Sandra and her team took excellent care of my little one since she was 3 months old, and now she is ready for her next big milestone (pre-K). Children in Ohana’s thrive because of the loving and caring environment, and professionalism of all staff.

Ohana Daycare is fantastic! My son started at 9 months old (he is now 3 years old) and now my daughter attends there as well (started at 5 months old). I cannot express how wonderful Sandra, her husband and her staff members are and have been over the years. They provide exceptional care, enrichment activities and preschool/pre-K preparation. The space is very clean, colorful and engaging for the children and the backyard space is huge with a great playground. During the warm months, they do tons of outdoor activities, going for walks in the neighborhood and water play; Outdoor time is prioritized all year around. Sandra and her staff truly care about the children as if they were apart of their own family and safety is always a priority. My son has learned so much Spanish as well as it’s a dual language program.

They use an App to share pictures and status updates and also a tracking sheet for the babies (feeding, sleeping, toileting schedule). Sandra also provides organic home cooked meals, which has been a life saver for my very picky eaters, as they will eat her food but not mine!
Sandra has been very supportive and engaged when my son was having developmentally appropriate behavioral problems and worked with us to address this. The other families have been an added bonus with being so friendly and awesome (they are now apart of my “parents friends” community!).
Ohana Daycare has been an extension of our family and we are truly grateful for our experience here. I highly recommend this daycare!

I highly recommend Ohana Inhome Daycare! The owner, Sandra, is wonderful, caring, and nurturing. We enrolled out daughter when we moved to Northern Virginia when she was 4 month old. Sandra provides excellent care. She cooks lovely meals for the older children with focusing on natural and organic foods. She uses a learning curriculum for the pre-school aged children. They try to spend as much time outside as possible. She keeps the kids active and has a very nice playground, My daughter was very well cared for, learned a lot, and is thriving. They did a lot of education activities and Sandra really went above and beyond to make sure the the children had a great balance of learning and playing. I feel as though Sandra and the other childcare providers at Ohana were part of our family. Highly recommend!

My three children have been attending Ohana for the past four years, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. My youngest two have been there since they were infants, and the care and attention they have received have been exceptional.
The daycare is incredibly diligent about creating a safe environment for the kids. Safety is priority number one with well-defined health guidelines in place, which gives me peace of mind knowing that my children are in a healthy setting.
Beyond safety, Sandra ensures that the children learn important values such as sharing and kindness. This emphasis on social skills is evident in the way the children interact with each other and with the staff. Sandra and her staff are also so engaged with the kids. Their genuine affection for the kids is evident in every interaction, and it has created a warm and nurturing environment that my children look forward to every day.

One of the standout features of Ohana is the age-based curriculum. From the very beginning, children are engaged in learning activities appropriate for their developmental stage. This structured approach has greatly contributed to my children’s growth and preparedness for the next stages of their education.
Lastly, the daycare is in a very safe, secluded neighborhood. She has a large fenced backyard with a playground so the kids can have ample outside time. On nice days, they also go on adventure walks (including the babies). With three boys, my kids need lots of outside time and the large backyard allows for ample play.
Overall, I highly recommend Ohana to any parent looking for a nurturing, educational, and safe environment for their children. The dedication and care provided here are truly outstanding.
